the basics
this is meant to be a gpsl, so we feel we can keep the rules fairly simple. we've all been doing this long enough to understand the rules of conduct: don't be a jerk, don't harass, don't cross ic and ooc. we have no intention of inhibiting anyone's creativity as long as it is appropriate. use cut-tags and proper warning labels for sensitive content. if you're not sure if your post needs a warning label, err on the side of caution. most of all, we ask that you join with a willingness and desire to interact with everyone. if you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to contact us. please understand that we, as mods, are fallible human beings. we will do our best.


applying
we ask that you clear your friends list and you must have a new spam post for this gpsl.

  • journals can be ic or ooc. we require that characters and the pb be 35+. to apply, you will need your character's basic information along with at least two paragraphs of history. please post a new spam post and backdate your entries!


    • while we are focused on writing and not aesthetics, we do encourage you to use the resources available for layouts and icons. if you have questions or need help with this, just ask us! we're not coding experts but we'll do our best to help.

    activity
    one post per month will be required for activity. we don't care what it is that you post, but it must be open for comments and you must respond to those comments. the activity cycle will run from the first day of the month until the last day. if life decides to life, and you need an extension, you must request one prior to the end of the activity cycle, or you will be removed. you are also required to keep your friends list up to date, or you risk removal.
  • you can use your introduction for your activity. if you choose to do this, we ask that you drop off a link to it in the activity post.



    • etc
    we will grant a hiatus to members based on each individual circumstance. change of pb must have prior approval from the mods before you make ajustments with icons. we will attempt to be as prompt as possible with answering these requests. as we all know, notifications are often a problem. if you don't get a response from us within 24 hours, please comment again. we may not have gotten the notification.

  • all hiatus and change of pb requests should be left in the members post.
  • requests for an extension on activity are to be left in the members post and must be done before the end of the activity cycle to avoid removal.
